A salesman comes out and sits in your kitchen for three hours with a laminated price book and a discount that expires when he leaves. You sign. Then a different person comes back out to do the technical measure. Only then does your order actually go in.
That's two appointments and often two or three weeks before anyone has even ordered your windows.
I measure it myself on the first visit. Forty years of doing exactly this, so it gets measured right the first time and your order goes in that week. I'm out of your house in about twenty minutes and you get a real number that evening.

I'll give you a ballpark on the phone before anyone comes out — you shouldn't have to book an appointment to find out whether this is in your budget. The exact number needs a measurement, because a rotted sill changes things and I'd rather find that now than argue about it later.
About twenty minutes. I measure, I look at the frames, I leave. You get the number that evening.
I use install crews I trust and I stand behind their work. I measure the job myself and I'm the one you call if anything needs sorting out afterward — you won't be handed off to a call centre or told to take it up with a subcontractor.

Most homes are one to three days depending on how many openings. I'll tell you before we start, and if weather is going to move it, you'll hear it from me first.
